No record of the BBC Videotape Department is complete without a Timeline to put everything into relative perspective. As well as this we are also publishing an amazing document, started by Ron Nether, and continued and refined by Don Kershaw (thank you for all your hard work Don!). This records every VT machine bought by the BBC from July 1958 to December 1988 - 980 machines, quad, one inch, video discs, etc.....
