A familiar sight to anyone peering through a Smith's splicer! This photograph from Bob Smith clearly shows the video tracks, control track, cue track (time code, I assume) and audio track. If you hover over various parts of the image you will find hotspots which will take you to a better enlargement.Quad was, of course, replaced by C format - 1" tape - which looked completely different.
