What an amazing collection of the history of television! I too can just remember the Panorama broadcast, never dreaming that one day I would actually be working in television.
Thank you so much for keeping history live!

  Hello from the States!

I used to be a VT operator/cameraman/dogsbody for my high school television station in the 70s. It's great to see how things were done by the big boys. I especially enjoyed the Christmas videos. Got any more?

Thanks a lot for sharing!

hello, what a great dealve into the
world of what sound replication was all
about. It's very easy these days to record sound to a high standard and then digitally manipulate, re-arrange and create some fantastic mutation, but back in the old days it took days to do things that now takes 2-3 minutes.
I know from experimentation, disasters and sheer frustration how difficult it was to get" a sound a nd tell it w hat you' d l ike it to do for y "ou, bel" ie "ve me," IT WA S W ORTH IT .
Thank y ou.< br> Be st r egard "s, Tony Warot.
